Hmm, can depend a ton on the model but they can get pretty good (esp depending on how high up the $$$ scale you wanna go).

I've got an Everlast guard I wear whenever I spar and it's held up quite well given all the times my sweaty crotch has been in them haha. You'll still feel a well placed bomb if you're not prepaired; but they are definately do want when you're in the ring.







Also, lol shit I found while cleaning my room. Ahhh I miss High School. Just a friend of mine for le record; we were shooting a really shitty video for spanish class.

fairly often. There's more KOs from body strikes than head. Putting a person down with a kick isn't as common as a knee or a punch, mainly because you're quick to guard your ribs/liver with you elbows, so clean kicks to the rib cage usually only happen when the other person is punching, so they're fast and not as powerful as the could be.

It doesn't matter how strong your abs are, after taking a few clean knees it won't matter. Not to mention if you get pulled into it. You don't get a second chance with those. We throw a lot more body crosses/straights than boxers because we stand more square so it's easier to hit the solar plexus. Then of course the standard left hook to the liver is used a fair bit.

I have always wondered why boxing doesn't ever have a 'Piston Honda' in the sport
