Where did you grab those numbers? Several magazines tested the 996 Turbo quicker than that. Those 996 Turbo numbers almost look like they should be for the naturally-aspirated 996.

Its quick acceleration could be due to the automatic transmission. Those help loads on turbocharged cars for straight line acceleration. Instead of lifting off the gas, losing boost pressure and NOT accelerating for a split second, you just keep your foot planted.

the na 996 isnt as quick as that, but the turbo should be slightly quicker

Those are Auto Bild numbers. And yes, they're slow for the 996 Turbo.
