Yep, here's a few pics of it.

It needs some stripes or something on the rockers. Solid silver just does not flatter the shape of the car.

Boy the LGM Vette looks like it's going to be an extremely impressive package!

They started off more than 5 seconds off the GT2 leader, now they're about 2.5 seconds back, and this is only the 2nd day the car has ever run!

Here are their times from 3 sessions so far:
Session 1 - 2:08.146
Session 2 - 2:06.167
Session 3 - 2:03.909

The leading Ferrari did a 2:02.535 today, so they were about 1.5 seconds off the pace today (2.5s off the fastest time this week). I'm really excited at the progress they're showing already. Ultimately, the Ferraris and Porsches are very well sorted, and this car will likely have some teething and reliability issues in the race, but it's great to see that the car will be very, very fast!

In an interview with David Robertson of Robertson Racing, he more or less confirmed Tim Pappas' Team Trans Sport would be receiving the 2nd Ford GT-R chassis and may have it ready in time for the next ALMS round at St. Petersburg.

Peugeot leads Sebring test

Peugeot driver Stephane Sarrazin topped the track record at Sebring in testing for Saturday's 12-hour race.

By GREG MIGLIORE

Peugeot recorded the fastest time on Monday in the first test session for the American Le Mans Series 12 Hours of Sebring scheduled for March 15, with an unofficial lap time of 1 minute 43.302 seconds.

Peugeot driver Stephane Sarrazin beat the previous record, set in 2007 by Audi's Marco Werner, by 1.672 seconds. Sarrazin was also fastest at the January winter test with a lap of 1:42.801. Werner was second fastest on Monday, posting a lap time of 1:43.784.

Audi has won Sebring every year since 2000. It is considering whether to race the rest of the ALMS season while lobbying for a rule change to help its LMP1 turbodiesel R10 race cars. Peugeot says it is using Sebring as preparation for the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June, where its turbodiesel 908 HDi LMP1-class prototype failed to defeat Audi last year.

The No. 7 Penske Racing Porsche RS Spyder, driven by Timo Bernhard, was the fastest LMP2 entry on Monday with a lap of 1:45.147. It was followed by Andretti Green Racing, with a lap of 1:45.866, and Dyson Racing's No. 16 Porsche RS Spyder at 1:45.975.

Unsurprisingly, the factory Corvettes led GT1 testing, with Oliver Gavin's 1:56.501 in the No. 4 car besting the other Corvette by nearly a full second. The Bell Motorsports Aston Martin DBR9 was third in class, with Terry Borcheller turning in a time of 1:59.882. The race will be the first for the Aston Martin in the hands of the Bell operation, which has a long history of chasing the Corvettes in a Saleen S7R.

In GT2, Risi Competizione's Jaime Melo was the fastest with a lap of 2:01.423 in a Ferrari F430 GT. (Autoweek)

Apparently the Eco Racing Radical was built with the wrong bell housing and oil tank. The team worked all night last night to fabricate something that would work, but unfortunately they haven't been able to fix the problem, and the team will not run this weekend.

They're taking the car back to the UK so it can be properly repaired and they hope to return after St. Pete.

Here's the best pic yet of the Ford GT. It looks a LOT better in this pic than in all the rest we've seen. I'm sure it'll look great in person.

Also, the LG Corvette is now running the awesome BBS wheels that most other teams run. It looks fantastic!

Nice pictures. Not to change the subject, but I just heard that ECO has withdrawn its entry. We are now down to five LMP1s in the ALMS' premier event. Pretty sad. I have committed myself to going to Sebring, mostly because I fear it could be the last Sebring (at least in while) that has any kind of competitive field and by that I mean the head to head between Peugeot and Audi. Not that this field offers much competition, but there is that tiny bit of interest. We have now seen Creation, Cytosport and ECO all pull out. Sebring is just not that important, just a good test run before Le Mans. Gone are the halcyon days of the past. Again, we need a world championship to sustain events like Sebring. I hate the Grand Am formula, but at least there is competiton, albeit in uninteresting cars. The remaining events in ALMS with the exception of Petit Le Mans really hold no interest.

Sebring should be the opening round of the LeMans Series. They know what they are doing over there, unlike Scotty A. He is all talk. Of course that's because he is not an executive, but a PR guy. Panoz had no clue and that's why the ALMS is what it is now.

Aside from Sebring being an LMS race, why not make the ALMS a 2 class series if no one can/will enter in ALMS LMP1 or GT1?

Here are times from qualifying, although they will not stand. Ben Devlin put the Lola Mazda into the wall shortly after the start of the session, and it was red flagged which didn't allow many entries to even turn a lap.

So the grid will be by using each car's best time from the 3 practice sessions.
