With development engineer Jim Mero behind the wheel, the ZR1 paced the Nürburgring in a time of 7:26.4. The engine rpm and the vehicle speed are the actual data taken during this lap. The elapsed time was measured electronically and confirmed with two hand-held stopwatches. The video is continuous and unedited. Watch and listen as the ZR1 tackles the twists and turns of "the Ring" and sets one of the fastest times ever clocked for a production car.
No other man-made device since the shields and lances of the ancient knights fulfills a man's ego like an automobile.

lsiten guy, i may not know where london is or what 34+45 is or what a panda bear eats but i do #$%#ing know what cars is what. i have over 100k psots on a friggen car site ok? i know ferrari enzos and i know bmw means bavarian motor works and that Mercedes-benz means "fast and cool" in latin and i msot def know waht a effing porsche looks like. thats why i jsut brush aside your "Facts" becasue im the expert here and i know my stuff.

 That was awesome! The ZR-1 sounded so beautiful from start to finish, unlike the GT-R I didn't even hear it's engine. The ZR-1 handled those turns really good alot better then the GT-R in my opinion it looked as if the GT-R driver was getting knocked around by the bumps also he had to deal with tons of understeer

the more insulated ferrari is from the rest of the car world the better for them.

Ferraris can stay the "ultimate sports car" if theyre not shown to be trashed by cars of 1/2 the price like the ZR1/ACR/GTR/whatever.

"Ferrari builds Race Cars, they just finance then with road cars."

They really don't care about the Nurburgring or how their cars would do on it.
