okay, enough of "it's a Viper copy" crap
Firstly, the general design is OLD OLD OLD.
Viper drew its inspriation from Shelby racing coupes of the 60's.
The long hood, short boot is older than all of them (old Ferrari's, Jags, whatever. That's what they ALL looked like once upon a time)
For the person who said "Make teh Viper's body out of fibreglass, and then see who wins".
That is stupid. You cannot save 1000lbs by making the body out of fibreglass. It's not a home conversion kit. The Marcos is a smaller car, with a smaller engine, with a fibreglass body. Even a Viper racer isn't as light as this. Hell, the all carbon fibre McLaren was about the same weight.
It's a minimalist approach to car building. TVR, Marcos, Lotus. Thsoe are hte only three that still make them like that. Well, Lotus even isn't as light anymore (barring the tiny, tiny Elise)
Lastly, a person who is looking at this wouldn't even consider a Viper. Vipers are too common, too many small-penis jokes, too big.
This is a car for a connoiseur
You don't buy an engine, you buy a car. Lotus and TVR use/used Rover lumps. THis uses a Ford. Noble uses a Ford too (I think). The Invicta has a Ford V8. McLaren used BMW.
These small companies concentrate on CHASSIS design. Instead of selling strictly based on engine specs.
