I do not know! Most probably it is depending were you drive. I for sure think from personal experience that the masa it is painless to handle. Off course if you go strait on the highway it will almost impossible to see the difference. I think that the M5 it is slightly faster in the beginning (at low RPM.) of the acceleration, but when the turbo around 2800 start to work the progression of the Maserati itÂs superior. Beside it looks better and it is more exclusive. And never the less it did not annoy any body with this old bmw look.
