I remember Ferrari stating that the 3200GT would not be offered in red; that blue is the color associated with Maserati, and red is the color associated with Ferrari. Which of course, is ridiculous, but that's what happens when a company buys its competitor, I guess.

So, its great to see a red Maserati again. And while the infusion of Ferrari cash has no doubt saved Maserati, it's too bad that Ferrari won't let Maserati produce anything that might provide Ferrari with some competition. Sure, from a marketing standpoint, what they're doing makes sense, but still, Maseratis were never down-market Ferraris, until now....

I guesse ferrari realised that they cant keep up there arrogance if they wanted to sell cars. I mean not offering a car in a certain color because it doesn't 'respresent the company' just frickin stupid. Don't get me wrong i like ferrari and all but some times I think they're dug a little too deep in tradition.
Damn blue-collar tweakers.

I hate Ferrari...I like a 40's or 50's US car or a 60's muscle more than any Ferrari...Ferraris are nice, but not that nice, nice for snobbs...
