Dude, this car isn't built to be light. It's built to have maximum comfort for the driver and all of his/her passengers as well as having power up the wazoo at the tap at all times. I think that Bently has done a magnificent job with the car they have designed here. Not to mention that they are getting a 5800lb car to 60mph in 6.3 seconds.

6.3 sec 0-60 is better than most 2400lbs cars.

If it weighed half as much as it did it wouldn't have half as many luxurious qualities as it does.
The best place to look for any mustang- in the rearview mirror of my 'Vette!

It's not fat, it's festively plump.

Interesting debate...Both sides are correct. 5800 lbs is a little high, seeing that the Hummer H1 is only 1000 lbs heavier. Although there is really no reason to take off too many pounds, as this is just a luxurious car that doesn't need to go through a slalom course. Taking pounds off means taking lux off. So personally I think maybe the Azure could shave a few pounds off, but I don't think its necessary for the Azure to pull a Jared. O yeah, and this is the most luxurious convertible ever.
