This piece of crap (American) was killed by the Ferrari 360 GT in the Grand-Am Championship 2002.

LOL you have surely shown you're one of the most biased idiots on this forum. Sure, the Ferrari beat it, and seeing this is made by a small company compared to Ferrari who specializes in Formula 1 it's not exactly surprizing. Give this car a few years and it'll walk all over the Modena.
BTW sure the 360 Gt is faster than the MT900R, but I'm sure you won't be stupid enough to say the same about the road cars because the Photon is much faster than the Modena.

What kind of a stupidass point are you making, idiot? The size of the company doesn't matter, because all I said was that it was killed by the 360 GT in the Grand-Am Championship, which means that the Ferrari is a better car, and it's a good thing that they use Formula 1 technology for their race cars.

Ah, but you didn't say the Ferrari was a better car, all you said was that the Mosler was a POS, as you put it.
Well, Porsche is beating Ferrari, does that Make the Ferrari any less of a car? Oh, and Mosler finished second in the Bathurst 24 hour classic, ahead of Porsche.
Read up on this car, I think you may find it impressive. Just because you're biased against American cars, does not mean you should slander this when you obviously know nothing about it.

Oh and here's something else you might be interested in:
Rolex 24 at Daytona
Mosler MT900R finished finished 13th, while the Ferrari 360GT managed nothing better than 25th.
Phoenix United Auto 200
Mosler Mt900R- 8th Ferrari 360GT- 21st
I know there are other races that the Ferrari has beaten the Mosler in, but don't make it sound like the Ferrari so much better than the Mosler, because it isn't.
Oh, and you can buy a MT900R GTS class spec for only 159,000 USD, which is about the price of a regular 360 Modena.

Maybe you're the one who should do some reading: the Ferrari 360 GT won the Grand-Am championship of 2002, what are you talking about Porsche beating it? Those two races are the only ones where the Mosler actually beat the Ferrari, but Ferrari went on to win a record of 5 consecutive races. I'm not biased against American cars, I like American cars, but I just can't stand people saying "Why get a Modena when you can get a Mosler for half the price?". Anybody of that opinion obviously doesn't know anything about cars.

Perspective Racing's Mosler MT900R also beat the Ferrari at Homestead. The Mosler was faster than the Ferrari in almost every race, and sould have scored more wins against it, but a couple mechanical failures, and a co-driver that wasn't as fast as Joao Barbosa held them back.
I'd also like to point out that the Rollcentre Racing MT900R finished in front of the pole sitting 360GT at the 24 Hours of Bathurst too

I don't even think Auberlene and Wagner would agree that the 360GT "killed" the MT900R.
Rollcentre did kill the POS Ferrari 360GT at Bathurst though

Well, naturally, it was a close season, Ferrari didn't really rape the Mosler.
Can't say the same for the F2002 in Formula 1, though...

Oh, wait a second, how many LeMans did Ferrari win over the course of history? And how many did Ford win? There's a pretty big gap!!! And how many championships did an American company win in Formula 1? Oh, wait, like NONE? And the Ferrari 360 Modena is overrated? Try driving one, you'll soon change your mind.

Both Ford and Ferrari have won the LeMans there for showing that they can make a car better than the competition.

Nononononononononono, let me correct you on that: first of all, the engines are COSWORTHS, not Fords, only owned by Fords. Second, if you're trying to say Ford (Cosworth) has won more championships than Ferrari you're wrong, because a car is made up of more than just an engine, so the credit really goes to Lotus, McLaren, Tyrell, and Matra, not Ford. Third, I may be wrong by I was under the impression that Williams used twin-turbo Honda engines in 80 and 81, not Cosworths.

Correct me if I am wrong here but I belive that Williams didn't start using Honda turbo's until late 1983.
Oh and just to add a twist to the Mosler v Ferrari thing as it relates to the Bathurst 24hrs.....the Mosler did finish 2nd (22 Laps behind the Monaro) but both in the race and qualifying it was some 5 seconds slower than the Ferrari. But the ferrari blew 2 engines in the race and the Mosler still managed to finish 2nd after having no clutch for the last 12 or 13 hours of the event.

Shorty's plan for the race was to take it easy on the car. It was his first time at the mountian, and only their third outing with the car. I have a feeling he will use the same strategy at the 24 Hours of Daytona.

You just called this car a "POS", I'm pretty sure you know what that stands for. Yet you havn't shown anything that shows that this car is in fact a POS!
For the length of time Mosler has been around they have done pretty well in racing, and aside from that why don't you compare the street legal production Mosler to a street legal production 360?
The Mosler wins in pretty much everything over the 360, if I'm wrong on that please tell me where the hell his the 360 better?
Better yet why don't you just tell my why the Mosler is a POS?

Yes, I know the Mosler is not a POS, it is a great car (for an American car, JK). I was merely comparing the racing Mosler to the racing 360 GT, and since the Ferrari won the championship, I guess it is a better car. The street Mosler is obviously better than the street 360, but that's because they are built with different phylosphies. In racing, however, there is only one phylosophy: speed. The Mosler is an overall great car.

Last year the MT900R had more speed than the 360GT, but it also had more problems (dang Corvette parts...). This year the MT900R is bumped up to GTS, and the 360GT stays in GT, so no in-class racing...I'm not even sure any 360GT's will be running the full Grand Am series this year.

360 GT? Ha....I doubt it....but I dont believe it isnt possible...those Ferrari racecars are pretty fast, but not fast enought. However I do belive that street versions of each of be a pittiful race. It wouldnt even be close. The stock Vette I believe is actually faster than the 360....and at well under 1/4 the price!
OHV vs OHC? I'll stick with my good ol small-block OHV Chevy engines. They make more torque, & cost/weigh less. Long live the gen-IV small-block!

OK, you need to do some reading before you start posting, new member.
1. What you said about the stock Vette being faster than the 360 is the funniest thing I've ever read.
2. The street versions of both are amazing cars.
3. The Ferrari 360 GT DID BEAT THE MOSLER IN THE 2002 CHAMP.
4. Ferrari racecars are fast, period.
5. You are an idiot.
