As far as I know this is the first car to be designed in a wind tunnnel. Also note the head lamps are integrated into the wheel arches - one of the first. Definitely on of the most stylish cars ever to be designed, next to the Duesenberg model J, Hispano-Suiza, Delage D-8-120, 1932 Packard , Cadillac V16 Phaeton and Delahayes.

Actually, Phillip Wright's design was done complete by hand (the Chrysler Airflow was the first car to be designed in a wind tunnel). Also, the headlights in the fenders is far from original, in fact EVERY Pierce-Arrow had fender mounted headlights, many of them recessed. It was their special design element, much like the twin kidney bean grille is for BMW.
