I personaly think this cars looks are soo soo sooo much better then the Gt2 or Gt3 (dont get me wrong, i like thoes too) but i dont understand why the change. I honestely wish they kept as is.

This car,as the article says, was built as a homologation special for a Le Mans race car. It's a detuned, streetable version of the racer that was designed to compete in what was then known as the GT1 class for cars that could compete for overall victory in the 24 hour race. The GT3 was designed as a homologation special for the GT class; those cars have the lowest average speed of the cars that race at Le Mans and they are built much differently than the top class cars. GT cars are the closest thing to real production cars. The latest GT2 is just a hopped a version of the 911 Turbo. It is used for racing in some countries, but it isn't very good in its class. So, you see, they all have different purposes, hence there is no way they could all look the same or be built the same way.

Looks are certainly not everything. not when you're building a competable race car. personally I think the GT1 LeMans racer looks alot better. but It built for racing not for show
