This car is one of two that led BMW into the current place it is. Along with the '88 M3, this car performed better than any other bimmer. Also, this car makes me happy! It is such a man-mobile, and is most triumphant.

The M6. A classic BMW. Yes there is talk of a "New 6" but it will be hard to get used to. I doubt it will keep the "shark nose" and it will have a V8 as opposed to a I-6. This is my favorite BMW of all. It shared the same powerplant as the M1 supercar but was more producedthan the M1. BMW should have never gotten rid of it.

I absolutely love this car and cannot help but fear the new 6 series will fail to live up to this wonder.
Warning, people in black S4's are known to beat people driving white Accord's who, for some reason, think they want a peice.

this is the greatest BMW of them all. Looks great, the M1 engine is great, it is just great.. I'm just hoping that the possible "new 6" doesn't look like the new 700-series, as I think it's ugly.. BMW should make an all new 3.5 I-6 engine for the "new 6", as a V8 in a car like this wouldn't be just right..

Actually, I heard the new M6 will have a V10.

I thought the car that set the standard is the one below. Oddly, it's missing from this site's database. A crime...

Yeah they should have a 3.0CSL forum here.
Please make better posts or your account will be gone.

'What the hell is this shit?' threads do not make the grade.

ACtually i must say while this is a very very beautiful car, the BMW 2002 is the car that set up bmws future. its the car that actually made bmw popular in the US.

True that!! My pops used to own a 2002 model back in the 70's and he told me it wasn't the funnest ride (and he's driven 1000's of cars as he's a car dealer). Long live BMW!!!

A 2004 M6 with a 400bhp I6 would be really cool.
