I got this from www.bmwworld.com. It's not an 'M', most likely a factory 633CSi.
Judge a car from behind the wheel, not by the spec sheet. There is more to handling than pulling 'g' on a skidpan.

Yes, i highly agree that the E24's are great looking cars.. I say this only because i have a 1982 M635Csi... but this car doesnt have the S38 engine that was eventually put in in the year of 1984.. i have the CSL prototype engine that was used in the Le Mans, which is capable of producing over 900+hp!!! but i might get a few pics on here soon once i get the car back to mint/modified!!!

no it is an m series car, but it is not in the book that you have.. it is an M635Csi and it is a valid car... only 149 of them were made that year.. it was a full out street legal race car
