I know Per Eklund in person... (I live 60 kilometers from his house) He said that this car was hard to drive the lowest stage of the peak, because the cooling system of the engine had to cope with the low oxygen levels at the top. But the 3,5 bar turbo pressure made it possible to drive... And he also told me to get in the passenger seat to get a test trip. MAN!!! Was i freaked when I got out!!!

Prove it. Cos I've never heard of this ever happening before that was'nt some kid chatting bull. You do realise that he does'nt keep the car, it's sent back to Saab HQ and they do more tests on it to see where they can improve. Also it's not road legal and when theres not an event on you can't drive it at the Pike peak either.

I believe you, up until you talk about going for a ride. The car isn't his, dumbass! He doesn't own it, Saab does.

No, they sponsor him, so it is their car when he isn't racing it.

No Saab dosent own it.. he does! He built it (with help from others, mostly trollspeed)! Saab provided him with money but only for the good comercial.. And no it doesent have a passanger seat.. maybe he could install a extra seat if he wants.. he got the room for it..but everything weighs.. you know its even faster now, it got over 800hp.. If he hadenŽt build it for the pikes peak the car would have been even faster becouse it is set for high hights.. with a heavy monster intercooler for the thin air. I dont know if its road lehal, i dobt it.. but he did appear at a day at the race track, wich is day for the swedish people to see how their cars stands against eachother.. it was fast around the track, very fast...

Get your storry straight. ffs, Eklund build and owns that car him self. SAAB has nothing to do with it, they where against the creation of that car in the beginning. So please stfu if you don't know anything. SAAB started sponsoring the car when he won Pikes Peak the first time, and SAAB has done 0 tests on the car what so ever. And Eklund and hes crew built that car in 5 weeks. And belive me, the chassie isint SAAB in any way, only the engine block and the topp.!
so, please god.

I am a rallycross freak, so I know Per Eklund, and I also know that he own all of his cars (his 9.3 for rallycross, the pikes peak 9.3, which is in fact a rallycross car, with improved aerodynamics and without the turbo restrictors... The 2 saabs for the race of champions some years ago are also built by eklund, instead of by saab. An accelaration of 2.3 seconds is not even that fast, a swedish ford fiesta, the fastest 2 litre turbo with restrictors (=> 500-600bhp) does it in 1.7s/1.8s. And you can place an optional second seat in a racecar, for racing are the seats removed, but they can always be replaced, it is very common on for example testing days, as present for the sponsors...
