Do you know which company started to use this kind of doors ?

They're diferent from the '55 Mercedes SLK, '70 Porsche 917k and Lambos.

I think they're really cool.

I saw that in '98 Mercedes SLK-GTR, '94 McLaren F1 and we have them now in Ferrari Project FX concept.


But do you know which company started it ?

Maybe Lambo; they also have these kind of doors...

i think the gt40 started it...the merc had gullwing doors (they fold up, and were connected to the roof)...

these are the connected to the side fold up type (like countach, diablo etc)
