Well... maybe, sort of... Although the Saleen is not nearly as expensive. Anyway, I like the McLaren better, although the Saleen is awesome too.

Except griping the road right? And handling? There only seperated by 1/10 of a second on 0-60 I think I could go find a S7 ugrade headers or Exhaust system for less than 500,000 that will make up the difference. Imangine what you could do if you put that 500,000 into this car. Most likely atleast a 8 second car.

Well the BMW LMR V12 in the Mclaren is said to be the most reliable supercar engine.
And the S7 is not as agile as the Mclaren.

i dont think the S7 is the American F1. alot of ppl prolly havent hered of Saleen. The Corvette is closer because it is a high powered American ICON. But it has less hp than the McLaren, but costs a million less. And u can also say the GT40 is. The US has many great cars that can be called the 'American McLaren.'

except for the part where the S7 beats the McLaren(assuming the McLaren has been modified for US emissions laws)but its still really close even without the extra four cylinders
