First of all, yes, Saleens (all Saleens) are ugly (but that's just my opinion). Second of all this car could not really do anywhere near 250. It was just a claim made to generate some publicity for the company. Brabus is manufacturing a car called the TKR and have claimed 0-60 in 1.67 seconds and 270+ mph. Obviously tire tecnology does not exist to allow for those numbers and the company knows their car won't really achieve those numbers. However, they make the claim anyway just for the publicity. It's working brilliantly! That car is all over forums on other sites and the media is rabid!
All that said, I think people should appreciate this and all other Vectors for what they TRULY are. A bizzare and futuristic automotive expression of someone's dreams. They are unique and beautiful in their own way, and true classics. I would compare them to a DMC Delorean. A brilliant car with no place in the mainstream automotive world. No one should diminish the significance of these fanciful machines!
