I agree, I don't like this car.
However, one thing you need to understand is that Scion is a cheap, economical subsidiary of Toyota. They began the company, and got a bunch of talented young Automotive artists to design the most unique car they could. They have done a pretty good job, they're unique cars, very economical, and a good value for the quality of the car you get.
One thing I don't get though, is that there are actually two Scion Sports cars out there, both of which have power ranging from that of a 1992 Impulse RS, to an Eagle Talon TSI, which isn't bad, not great for a modern sports car, but at $14,000, it's a pretty damn good deal.
