To answer the above question, yas I would love to own one of these. I could make any hotrod fan piss his pants, if I ever had to I could sell the thing for millions. I would own a piece of history. It only gains in value. The list goes on, my only problem is, did it take a type of fuel we cna't get today (don't say leaded, there are additives)

yea, dude... people like you think that old stuff like this is crap.... when in all reality, people like Jay Leno own them and drive them REGULARLY, with so few problems (because if correctly maintained, im sure this car would be better than any current car reliabilitywise) and manage to have decent performance... like the 80 mph this thing is capable of in 1908????
would you say the brooklyn bridge is crap, just cuz its OLD and been outdone in the DECADES since it was built?? retard...

It might have the aerodnamics of a brick, but it's got the weight of a feather. So even with 18bhp it all evens out. But not only was this fast back then, but the roads were so shitty that you couldn't much faster than half the top speed of this car safely. So it was the Bugatti 16/4 Veyron of 1908. Whats the point of having a car that goes 252 mph if you the speed limit on most highways is well under 1/3 of that?
Bugatti wins in the 24 Hours of Le Mans: 1937: Type 57C (Driven by Jean-Pierre Wilmille & Robert Benoist) 1939: Type 57C (Driven by Jean-Pierre Wilmille & Pierre Veyron) 2003 Stanley Cup (Prediction): Boston Bruins vs. Detroit Red Wings
