I abosolutly love this car, the reason why i name my room like this is because it reminds me of the GT1, they both look FUCKING nice. I hope you can but this car. It looks so elegant and at the same time FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE THIS CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha u dick, of course it would beat the Bentley in 1998 because the Bentley EXP speed 8 did not exist then, and the Bentley has only been done 1 race in more than 6 decades.

Just to let yall know, they are both Le mans race cars, and if that Porsche were entered in this years race, it would be in the GTP class just like the Bentley. Also, the Bentley would statistically spank the Porsche cause its a four year old race car. These things are redesigned every year, so a four year old car would stand no chance.

Damn, that would be one hell of a race. My money is on the Porsche, because this car is still in it's first shaky year. The GT1 has already been running for awhile, and it's tried and true. Unless Porsche has completely rearranged the GT1 and I didn't notice.

Uh, the Bentley would win, mainly because it is 900KG and the Porsche is 1100KG, which is a big difference in racing. The EXP also has much newer technology in it so it would win.

The Porsche and this Bentley don't compete in the same classes do they?? Thought this was a prototype car like the Audis. I know they both compete in La Mans, but not in the same class right?

In purely technical terms, the very last 911 GT1 was a prototype. The FIA allowed Porsche to do that because it could not compete with LMP900 cars without a little bit of rule stretching. Because the FIA didn't want its most valuable partner at Le Mans to pull out, it let the 911 compete as a prototype. That said, it got its butt kicked by the Bimmer that year. Still, even though it is tried and true the 911 is still a heavier, less powerful, and less aerodynamically efficient car. The Bentley would be able to keep up with it at about 75% of its maximum potential.

You wanna name others...what about the GT40 who slayed the Ferrari? That car is one of the greatest ever and with modern stuff done to it could still win Le Mans. In other classes you always have the Corvette C5-R which is a great car and so were the Team Oreca Vipers. The Saleens have lots of potential, as do the Cadillacs in my opinion. Just because it is a Porsche doesn't mean it is the best car ever...there isn't one...and if there was, it would have to be the old GT40's.

One thing I would like to add, as long as we are all human, we will disagree on what is the best . . . but respect should be given to a car where it is deserved. Some cars deserve more and that is obvious. And it should be looked at as competition and that is a great thing. Competing different cars make the whole thing so much better.

Being French I support Oreca.
But you misunderstood me.
DoctorPorsche said that the GT1R is the best LM car ever , that's very wrong.
The GT40's were fantastic , but they're not best LM cars ever.
The 956/962 series are more impressive IMO.
I just quoted some car to show him how wrong he is , I never said the cars I quoted are the best ever.

Whatever the GT1R is 950kg, look it up, the street version is heavy, but the GT1R, the one that kicked McLaren's ass in Le Mans, is not that heavy. I love both cars a lot, but for you guys to say that the Bentley is better, you have to back it up with a WIN IN LE MANS, and the BENTLEY DOESN'T HAVE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. The reason why I'am saying this is because Porsche does have a WIN IN LE MANS!!!!!!!!
