We need some fords too as well as the older stuff, like monaros, more toranas, escorts, gtho's etc... Pls, there are so many people who would like more aussie cars too

I agree I'd love to see the GTHO on this site. Aussie cars need more recognition. If you want, write an e mail to Super Cars. Hopefully they'll listen if they get a few people writing to them. I'm going to write them an e mail. There adress is support@supercars.net.

Yep, I titally agree. I can supply them with 100's of pics of GTHO's and Valiant Chargers. People need to relaise we are not just about Kangaroos, playing cricket and drinking fosters, we made cars and had muscle car wars for decades like the yanks, and we made great cars at that.

ALso think more newer cars. HSV's are well up, even though they havnt put the HSV coupes up yet. I think they need to put up T-series Fords, and all the previous GT's EB, EL ect.

Yep, I'm an aussie and we should have more aussie cars on the site, especially the Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III, and even more so the Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T E49 - the fastest and most powerful production six cylinder car in the world at the time - 302 hp and 14.3 sec 1/4.

On the SC.net main forum, there are discussion boards for American, European, and Japanese cars, but there's no Aussie discussion board. Anyone agree, we should all email the guys running this site and rise up for the Australian supercars.

There should DEFINATELY be more Aussie Fords on this site. I would love for the world to see the wonders of the GTHO's
;_;

Problem with having a whole area dedicated to Australian cars is that 1) Theres not enough Australians currently on these boards and 2) They probably dont think we have enough cars to chat about.

I personally think it would be a great idea though. Currently all out Aussie Ford vs Holden wars have been in the supercarforums like in the SV33 and falcon 300+ forums, rather than in the general forums.

Does anyone know if the person in charge of these boards is currently an active member on the general forums?

I think we should do something to get some more aussie muscle on the site phase 1,2,3 and phase 4's and new and old manaro's and the HRT edition mallo ute, if that was on the site that really get some attention. Our cars are the best we got way better muscle cars than the americans we even have to supple them with pontiact GTO's. And lets not forget the TE50 best touring car australia has ever made as said by street machine.

Good idea to bring more Aussie flavour to this website that is so dominated by American, European and Japanese cars. For some strange reason a lot of people around the world seem to think that if a car wasn't made in America, Europe (including the UK) and Japan then it's hardly worth mentioning.

Remember that at one time the XY GTHO Phase III Falcon was the fastest 4-door production car in the world and that the R/T E49 Charger was one of the fastest accelerating 6cyl cars ever.

Just a few cars that could be put onto this site (alongside the HSV's, Monaro CV8 and the GTR XU1).....

1967 Ford Falcon XR GT
1969 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase I
1970 Ford Falcon XW GTHO Phase II
1971 Ford Falcon XY GTHO Phase III
1972 Ford Falcon XA GTHO Phase IV
1973 Ford Falcon XA GT Hardtop Superbird
1978 Ford Falcon XC Cobra Hardtop
1993 Ford Falcon EB GT
1997 Ford Falcon EL GT (30th Anniversary)
2003 Ford Falcon BA GT

1968 Holden HK Monaro GTS 327
1969 Holden HK Monaro GTS 350
1972 Holden Torana GTR XU2
1974 Holden Torana SLR5000
1975 Holden Torana L34
1977 Holden Torana A9X SS
1981 Holden HDT Commodore VC
1986 Holden HDT Commodore VK Group A SS
1987 Holden HDT Commodore VL Group A SS
1988 Holden Commodore VL Group A SS
1990 Holden Commodore VN Group A SS

I Guess my lack of Valiant knowledge now shows (even though I drive a 1978 CL Valiant) but numerous Pacers, Chargers and coupes (Chrysler by Chrysler) could also be included.

Here's hoping.
