Quote from blaze4eva you could just buy the standard car. add AEM big brakes for like 129 bucks, and some coilovers for another 200 bucks and you have the only two necessary parts of this performance package.
if you wanted to make a show car i doubt you would want these unshowy accessories. besides dont most show cars shave off their badges? The performance package also includes stiffer suspenion, lower ride height, and larger rims.
10 cars that I THINK are good( not in order): Honda NSX, Chevrolet Corvette, Honda Civic, Honda Accord, Honda S2000, Nissan Skyline GT-R, Honda Dualnote, Honda Odessy, Honda Integra, Acura TL.
10 cars that I think are bad: Chevy Camaro, Pontiac Firebird, Pontiac Sunfire, Dodge Viper, Ford Mustang, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Cavalier, Ford Escort, Toyota MR-2 (SW20), Dodge Neon.

i know aren't AEM brakes bigger brakes? coilovers solves the ride height not to mention suspension.
i would much rather choose my rims/tires. this would be the most expensive add on probably 1500.

the wrx is by far the better choice. for $25k you get a faster car with four doors and awd. all you would have to add is 17" wheel and tires to equal this and that would be far less than a total of $30k.

The base Type-S is just a few hundred over 23k. With all the normal basic exterior mods (spoilers/rims) and the interior trim its a few hundred under 27k. Badges are not all that expensive so this will probably clock in at very close to 30k, if not less than 29k which would be the old Integra Type-R. An Impreza WRX with equal accessories is over 30k. The two would come very close indeed. Or one could opt for the STi It all comes down to tastes, whether you prefer the six speed of the RSX, the five (or six with the STi) speed of the Impreza, FWD or 4WD, and a turbo or NA. Personally though, I'd get the RSX (I own one ), but if I was going for performance, the Subaru would be my choice.

WRX all the way, better by horsepower and price... honda can make a good engine and it lasts forever, but hey this is too much for this little car
