In my personal opinion the Evoq was a much better idea and much better looking car than the XLR.

They're basically the same. Unless you are confusing the XLR with the Cien concept. Believe it or not I saw a test mule XLR driving around on Wed April 9. It was sooo sweet looking. The XLR is going to be pretty weak for 2003 but there should be some high-performace models not too long after.

i dont think theyre doin any tests yet they may not even make this car or for that matgter any of the cadillac concept theyre too expensive for GM on the other hand, it was a pretty good idea for GM to spice up the interest in caddie. i, myself dont really care if they make it or not im getting that cien and xlr muahahah ill burn you all! i bet that cien cud do well over 240 burn

You dont think they are doing any tests!?

The production-ready XLR was at the auto shows as a media-only car (not displayed to the public)

i like the xlr better than the evoq because the xlr is more down to earth rather than this spacey concept.

i don't think so, i like the looks of the XLR better. but i don't like how the XLR doesn't have 400 hp, instead they gave the car 330hp to move around a 2ton car. what's up with that?

This car is definatly going into production(LXR that is).How can ANY car be too expensive for GM to make when they are the leading car manufactuer in the world?

Evoq is much better looking in my opinion. I prefer daring to down to earth and while the XLR is daring this is that much more daring. I also think this looks more like a sportscar which also gives the Evoq my vote.
