I heard this car costed about 4 million dollars to make
... the goal of the designers was to put everything Cadillac means in a car, ... stylish luxurious and sport...

If this is a hint of what the next gen STS will look like, then Cadillac may finally have a BMW beater on the streets. (Imagine a 400hp Northstar V8? wow!)

Yo, it sure will kick BMW's ass!
But I hope that some of these would be sold in Europe...

they have to
remember that the current gen STS was introduced at the Geneva Auto show back in 1998, and this concept was unveiled there too in 2000. I'm betting the next gen STS due out next ear will be introduced there or at Frankfurt too.

Hm.....but they have showed the pre-production version of Evoq only. And CTS. But they've said nothin' about Imaj or Vison yet. If they gonna launch Evoq in 2003-2004, then they gonna launch Imaj in 2005 an Vison in 2006, I think. btw, do they still sell Catera in US?? In europe it's Opel Omega......

Cadillac has kept the new STS and LAV (I don't know its actual name, but its the production version of the Vison SUV) totally underwrapped, there are no spy pics that give a hint how the cars will look like, but they will indeed be produced at the same plant where the CTS is now being built.

The STS will arrive by 2003 and the LAV by 2004.

ANd if the new STS keeps the proportions and terrific looks /engine this car has, sure they have a winner.

this machine is destructavly awsome. Very clean yet seemed to pack every luxury thing they could think of into it. Technological, Clean, sharp edged radical I like the way Cadillac is moving. Distictly American styling. Cadillac is gaining back it's respect.

Yeah...
I've heard the powerplant is almost exactly what we are going to see in the new STS can you imagine it...
aCadillac that can actually beat BMW, M-B and Audi in terms of power, looks and possibly luxury... (they've got night vision for a start, who else has it?

Just imagine seeing one of these on the road! Talk about a serious head-turner!

I wonder how fast it will go...

think 0-60 in the low 6's or maybe even less.

the Imaj /STS is deffinitely going to be a hit.

Yes that is what this caddy represents! For me it is better than Mercedes, Bmw and Audi. Let us hope that this car would be produced one day!

uhhm like I've said this car hints at the styling direction of the new STS, also the STS will be Caddy's technologic tour de force, lets hope this 6month delay Mr Lutz ordered just turns around in a whole better car that may one day be the benchmark of its class..

the best built caddy was the eldorado in 1970, then it was followed by the caddy seville sts and the eldorado tc in 1993. But this caddy is one of the best of the best!

I think the Eldo embodies all what Cadillac has been....
its the car that best represents the brand's heritage and evolution.

I hope to see it back in the not-too distant feature.
