This isn't a supercar. Its a fast, great handling little car, but its no supercar. Who made that list anyways? No Ford GT? This is obviously an american hating list.

What makes a car super is based on what people think as individuals. I think the H2 is dumb, you dont see chevy throwing it on a 'dumbcars.net' website do you?

well, it wouldnt be chevy, it would be GM, but ya they could have picked a better car then this one for a supercar.

hey, just because it costs less than a mansion, does less than 200 mph, and does not have a V12 does not mean it can't be called a supercar. This car is very fun to drive and can take on some pretty heavy competition like 360's and 911 Turbos, seems pretty super to me.
I think you are confusing the word "supercar" with "exotic car"

you're statement is very much true. As great a car this is. Supercars do cost as much as mansions b/c they are top of the line, creme of the crop performers. There are many cars that are on this list that are more qualified as super cars (where is the enzo, mclaren f1 and koenigsegg cc?) Lotus Elise and Exige is known as one of the best handling sports cars there is. But it is not a supercar. sometimes magazines have fun and compare this sports car to lamborghinis for fun. go to www.motortrend.com and read they're ford gt40 porsche carrera gt and ferrari enzo comparison to see some supercars  anywho i love this lotus and can't wait to see them come stateside soon. even though i cant afford one :P

Every car magazine who ever tested this car says it is a super car.
in 2002 Road & Track did a compareson between this, a Ferrari 360, Corvette Z06, BMW M3 and several others. Even being 200 hp less the Ferrari it was onlw a second off or the Ferrari's course time. It's speed through the hairpin was a full 5mph faster than the Ferrari and it kicked every one's ass through the slalom as well. That is what makes it a super car.
hp/liter is unimportant. What matters is hp/Curb Weight.
How many places can you go in a straight line? 1/4 mile tells you nothing about what's important, handling.
