ive read recent opinions of editors in UK CAR magazine stating that recent sale slumps and the Golf losing its trademark image, and stiffening competition from other companies in this market from ford, renault, megane who supposedly offer as much or more for lower price is bringing this icon to an end. this is for all the GTI lovers out there: can this possibly be true?
The reviews on it I have read have said also that competition from rivals is getting hotter but I have read that this reincarnation is supposed to revive the spark of the old GTi's some of which,especially mk3+4,have put shame to the badge!
