I don't see how everyone "hates" the new S7 because it has turbos. No one seems to have a problem with the Bugatti. People think you can just slap on a few turbos and you're good to go. Sorry, wrong. There is much more to it and if you read any of SAR's posts, you could learn alot. This is an amazing production car and definately a top competitor with the top names.

there are naturally aspirated 2003 S7's with the 625 bhp and 650 bhp upgrades.

I might sound silly, but why go through the hassle of two turbos when you can just remove some of the restrictors?

Making Hp is not an issue, its making HP and being able to certify the car that is the issue. Turbos help as you dont have to run as much cam, dont need long tibe headers, and during the EPA drive cycle you are not using any boost. With a NA engine you have to tune it to get the power with larger ports, long tube headers that dont let the cats get to temp fast, long cams with overlap that let raw fuel out the tail pipe during low rpm running

Great car, but a bit expensive and very hard to live with on a day to day basis. If u read the motor trend article on the non-turbo, 550hp version, they state that many mechanisms malfunction just during their test. Image that with two turbos! Besides, I've read that the clutch is unbelievably heavy and visibility is terrible. Still a fun track car though!

5.5 psi on the turbos? Doesn't sound like much of a problem to me. My friend is doing 15psi and no problems.

Read the C/D review of it. Dumb Ass, almost all of that is wrong.

The Builtmore Estates are a very unimpressive dwelling place.
If you think the subject car is a bad car, then either -A- You Own A Better Car or -B- There's Something Wrong With You. Those are the only two possibilities.

seriously, the new issue of C/D [I think, it has the S7 and mosler on the cover] states that all of what u said is wrong, maybe was right with the oringal S7 [they did say there were some things that needed fixing and were for the TT] but arent anymore. and they clearly say visibility is excellent

i think id rather trust them seeing as they actually drove the car
