Though I was never a ricer, I was like you once apon a time. All I cared about was horsepower. I did not even know what a V8 was. However, unlike you, I was intrigued by the inherit beauty and pleasures of the automobile, and I thus committed myself to study and learned all I could. Today, I am worthy of posting on this forum. You can be too, if you really want to. May I suggest a subscription to the world's best automotive magazine, MotorTrend. This may cure the condition I have just diagnosed.
As for the car, there is no auction, not even Barret-Jackson, worthy of its magestic presence on the block. The collector (I watch a video biography about him after the show) was named Adrian something, and clearly got his money's worth. It sure made for an intense bidding session though! Those who haven't seen it should watch a clip of it!
