hmmm i heard about a firebird that has 2 v12's and only weighs 1700 lbs or so, and my friend said it had 2500hp and 4k torque on a manual trans, he said it was never pushed passed 1st gear and went around 200-300, ill ask him to put the full info somewhere, and i dont have an idea why its so light either :/

Call me crazy, but to me that sounds a little unrealistic -- or maybe unreliable would be a better word (but still just a bit unrealistic)

anybody who owns a car like this hennasy thing is seriously over compansating, and i douht that this car will break 400km i bet it would top out at 350-360 but thats still very impressive even though it aint jap

Two V-12's and weighs 1700 lbs? Are you retarded? Do you have any idea how much a fully dressed V-12 weighs? You would be hard pressed to have two V-12's and a drivetrain alone that weighs less than 1700lbs.

Well yer its entrirely possible for this car to got 255 mph as its only aerodynamics stopping most top-end cars from reachin speeds such as this...

To be honest i think that a viper approaching 400+ km is a terrible joke in the fact that when it comes to car developement for instance, we will take its two nearest competetors the callaway(joke) it did it once apparently but theres no real proof in behind the claim, sorry lefeinger! do it again infront of the world so that we don't have to take your word for it. then there's the bugatti veyron, this car is a combination of the worlds best car manufactures (Dodge wouldn't even make it in the top 10) company's like Porsche, VW, Audi, VAG groups which have proved themselves again and again to be at the top of the worlds motoring and motosport scenes unlike Dodge the veyrons tech factor is amazing the car costs 5 million dollars just to make let alone the amount of state of the art gizmos that it beholds, it takes 2 engineers 2 weeks alone to assemble the DSG gearbox and it has 4 turbo's this at the moment is the pinicle of human moto achievment and you want to compare it to a dodge don't make me laugh hahahaha!

This is a tuner car, much like the callaway sledgehammer, and it puts up some pretty serious numbers, i would not be surprised to see it hit some pretty high speed numbers, if the dick that is John Hennessey ever does anything, has a customer even gotten a finished car? LOL.
You forgot to mention it has 16 cylinders.. wait a second.. 16 minus 10.. thats like six more cylinders!! Wow more turbos more cylinders, the technology!! It also has AWD! None of this stuff has ever existed before! Actually I think the Bugatti would have been better with a few of those companies out of the picture, and i cant recall Porsche involvment except for them trying to buy everyone out?

Every year Road & Track takes about 6-8 tuner cars and does what they call "The Standing Mile." The Venom 1000 has taken the title 2 years in a row. In 2005 the roadster ran the standing mile at 210 MPH, with the top down and with the right side turbo's impeller damaged by a rock. Last year the coupe won again going through the mile at 218 MPH, in front of the DHL Champ Car, and the S7 Twin Turbo. I don't think it's too hard to imagine this car hitting 255 as a top speed, maybe even faster if it had the room. The Bugatti Veyron is fast, no doubt, but it also costs about 10 times as much as a Venom 1000. Don't get me wrong it's an astounding car and I never knock someone for having a favorite car. But everybody gets so mad at the Americans for building cheap speed. Everyday driving is about straight line acceleration from light to light. I've seen '89 Fox body Mustang's built for 10 grand or less smoking $90,000 Porsche's w/ all wheel drive, and I've also seen Z06's getting smoked by turbo Civics. It's tough to argue true performance until you actually see what a car is capable of.
