The car/engine wasnt mean to have a high hp/l... because you want this engine to last.. so having a lower hp reduces stress on the enging and prolongs its life does it not?

The engine does last. Recall that this engine used to be weaker before they turned to direct fuel injection. That increased output for the same engine without changing anything else. So we know that this engine can last anyways. Plus, it's not like they changed induction or supercharged or turbocharged it. They bored it. So this engine is quite stable, I'm sure, with that new output.
