Following in the footsteps of the new Miura, the new supercar, set to launch in early 2008, is sure to steal the autoshows everywhere.

umm no, i am pretty sure it wasnt

the body, as you see, is NOTHING alike, and although they both have V10s, they are not similar

the cala has a 3.9L V10, original, but the gallardo has a 5L V10 that was derived from a 4.2L AUDI V8.

also the cala was made before the Audi take over, and the gallardo was pure audi

WHUBAA... drop down... saPHBAAAGHW, and then after that you just drop in, just ride the barrel and get pitted, so pitted like that.

Yup, and it's a shame that the Cala never went into production. As I stated in the Cala's forums, I really think it could have made the company have a much higher annual income since it's price range would have been more within the range of the middle class and therefore it would have really spread Lamborghini's popularity even more.

As for the topic of this forum on the new supercar, could someone post more info it? I didn't know of another supercar coming out. I knew the rumors on the twin turbo Murcielago, the V8 & the V12 Espada (one's supposed to be front-engined while the other mid-engined), the probability on scrapping the LM00X concept...and the LP 640. That's about it. I'd like to know more.
