 Could be your basis for comparison... and lack of appreciation for differently configured cars. While the execution isn't entirely elegant, it's somewhat remeniciant of the Allard J2X-GTP and some late-era Can-Am single seaters which I, personally, think were rather wicked looking machines. You could design the thing to look like a Vanquish or a Muira, but then the aero wouldn't work and the beauty would be pointless.

 Form follows function, this car was never build to look good but to have good aerodynamics (airflow/downforce). And I actually like the way it looks.

Same here, the back half looks very similar to an F1 car.
The front needs to accommodate headlights, looks like a Le Mans prototype to me.

that's why the veyron took 5 years to produce. they stuck with a really poor bodyshape (performance wise) and had to adapt it like #$%# to make it work.

taste is personal everyone is not going to go WOW. But the fact that you read up on this car even thou you didn’t like it, shows that looks are not that important.

 GTR man, people have a right to their opinions, regarldess of your views. Although I do think this car does look good, i'm not gonna threaten other people to agree with me, to each his own man. I'm in love with this car, i thing it's friggin beautiful, with just it's sheer radicalness (wheather or not that's a word, i dont know :P) and the speed is amazing. This car is the embodiement of what I view as performance, getting that performance through low weight, not just sheer horsepower.
Weight is the enemy of performance, pure and simple. Not just handling, but just about every aspect of performance aside from maybe top speed

 The car isn't ugly. THats just your opinion. Some people thinik the Enzo looks bad. I think that the people that think it are crazy but its just an opinion. Its not the nicest, I've seen better but its still looks good.
