185K? if i had that money i'd go out and buy 5 brand new corvettes and add the extra 35 horses with cheap bolt ons. spend all that money on supercharging for 100 horses only. again just with bolt ons keeping it naturally aspirated i've seen that much on displacement motors.

thats because you are an idiot...the corvette has the chassis tune of tractor, the suspension of a Horse cart, which provides handling of a brick. its only saving grace is the engine, which is over-powered for the car.
even with substantially less power, it will still win against the vette because of its power/weight ratio, and will still own the track.
pull your head out of your ass, fanboy.

That's funny that you mention the Corvette being that way when recent track testings show that it outhandles the 911, Boxster, and Elise, the fore and latter being legends when it comes to handling.
Pull YOUR #$%#ing head out of your ass, ignorant bastard.

That 450bhp is from a standard Redback Spyder. There is a Supercharged option available that delivers 576bhp (430kw) instead.
BTW: Redback are also working on making the Redback Spyder road legal.

I'm not joking, they said so at the Redback Spyder stand and in the magazine at the Melbourne International Car Show.

it is a lot of power for the weight. i bet they kept it low for traction, surely they have to be able to get more per than that. it a supercharged ls1. they must have put a bigger pulley on it or something.
