You actually may be wrong about them being wrong. It depends on what tires are used for acceleration. Slicks will always cut down the wheelspin threshold. Any car that can spin the tires would gain a few tenths with slick. It's quite possible that the figures were arrived at differently. 3.5 sounds real for street tires, especially without TC.

The limitation is the contact patch. This is far more of a limitation that HP or torque. Next would be the driver. At 800 hp you'd need a surgeons touch with the pedal to get the ideal amount of wheelspin for launch.

So the stats aren't wrong, just different. But there is an explanation for the divergence.

Things are never straight forward and clear cut in the world of supercars so, we have a high and low showing but I think we can all agree this car kicks ass.
More Interesting CCX engine facts
806hp and 678ft lbs torque on 91 US octane rating
825hp on 95 US octane rating
900hp on on bio fuel
I would like to see the performance figures when running on on the bio fuel. The more I read about this car the more I want know and the more I want one.

Yes the specs are wrong, take this example.

The CCR has 806 bhp with one supercharger
The CCX has 806 bhp with 2 superchargers (That doesn't sound right) It's actually about 1000 bhp

and then the CCXR actually has 1200 bhp

this also means the 0-100(kph) (0-62mph) times are different

CCR 2.9s
CCX 2.7s
CCXR 2.5s

I also happen to know that behind closed doors the CCXR has done 420Kph (261mph)

they all have twinsupercharged 4.7 liter v8s. and the ccr and ccx both have 800 hp.the ccxr has 1000 with biofuel

and the name of this forum is corect. the specs are wrong.
0-60 is 3.2 or below. 1/4 mile is 9.8 secs
