What I heard was that they built a one-off for testing. They fit a 6.0 liter version of the V12 and then twin turbocharged it with Lotec turbos, much like the old Gemballa Diablo that had twins from Lotec. It's supposed to have, as you said, 1000bhp and 738 or so ft-lbs. of torque. I don't think there are any real plans to put it on production, though.

you can easily make any car 1000hp.
i will just never sell unless it has the class and exclusivity of a bugatti.
just stick direct fuel injection and four KKK turbos on a chevy small block V8 and there you go.

It would be nice to make a 900bhp one not too exclusive as the 16/4 Veyron maybe as rare as the Reventon.
Or maybe they should make a Reventon with quad-turbo.
