dont get me wrong , i love lambos as much as the next person but for over 10 year we have seen the same design being remodeled and remodeled again. isnt it time they went back to the drawing and started from scratch insted of basing all there cars on a door stop wedge.

You aren't going to have many people agree with you on this one.

No, you really aren't going to get many agreements. Lamborghini has typically looked like this since the Countach. It sets them out. Everyone knows a Lamborghini when they see one because..."Oh my #$%#ing God! That's a Lamborghini!" It's what people love. They loved the Countach, they loved the Diablo, and they love the Gallardo...as they will now begin to like the Murcielago even more with this design. They've been such an influence to other car makers, including the recent SSC Aeros, and I don't think they should change much at all, but as you will see in the upcoming times, the Espada and the, only assuming it goes into production, the Miura are different. The LM00X, which is now unlikely to go into production, looks like a compact SUV version of the Audi LeMans Concept. There are some changes coming up so keep your head high for them.

I agree with Cookie 91 Lamborghini needs to get some more cars in theri line-up. The Murcielago and Gallardo are great cars, but they need new blood, and I don't think bringing back the miura is the way to do it.

I like the design quite a bit...and this one gives an edgier look to the somewhat slabby Murcielago.
You guys are right though...I'd like to see a recreation of the Jalpa or 400GT.
I think the Miura looks pretty good actually...and it'd be a welcome addition.
The thing about Lamborghini is...they can build an all-around exotic. The car is fast, refined, and will impress your friends without a doubt. For some reason...Ferrari doesn't live up to this for me. They seem too race and track oriented. Lambos seem like road exotics...
Make any sense? Haha.

I agree with you. All-around exotic. Yup, they're fast, refined, and definitely impressive. Ferraris are overrated for me and just too common (by supercar standards). They are track oriented, but still get outperformed by Lamborghinis (except the F50 GT, Enzo, and FXX). Lambos rock all the way!

I think this car is great, there is such an awesome lamboness laying over this car.
I think it is great that they are doing this, ever since the Enzo came out, i wanted a more powerful murcielago, and here it is ..
but as some guys in here say, lamborghini needs a wider range of cars, i actually agree there, atleast one more model.
and NO SUV's, they should design something new, but still that can bring out what a lamborghini does, cause when you see a lambo, everyone recognizes it as a Lamborghini, they should keep that in mind when designing a new model.
I think they can keep the Gallardo & Murcielago models for a few years, with minor changes in design & power and so on.
But also get a new model out there.

This is what set's lamborghini apart and why i love lamborghini, because they don't look like any other car out there.
This makes Lamborghini very special.
There are no other car like a lamborghini, not even close !.

When you see a Ferrari you just don't know what Ferrari is that, it's a F430?! or a 550!? hummm, i think it's an Barchetta!?! they are all the same to me except for the Enzo of course, they are goodlooking, but when you see a Ferrari you think, "wow, that's a nice car", but when you see a Lamborghini you just don't know what speak, because that's unique, that's agressive and awesome and makes you feel afraid, even if you is seated down on your great Ferrari, should i call him for a drag race!? no, i won't!!! Who had Ferraris and buy a Lambo for the first time will never look back for another supercar! that's the little diference bettwen "the horse" and "the bull".

Audi has not ruined anything, what they've done is this, Caught the Raging bull and put a thin pillow over it's horns.
Tamed it just a bit.
Love to Lamborghini, and to Audi !!!.

This door stop wedge you're talking about is the legendary design that defines a Lamborghini.
Ever since I saw the Countach I was in love with it. (First time I saw it was in NFS:HP)
I saw the Diablo and again was super enthusiastic for it. And guess what made me recognize in that instant it was a Lamborghini, the wedge thing you're talking about.
I didn't need to see the emblem, I just saw the body and it resembles it big bro.
Same here in the LP640 same distinctive shape, few more improvements which are great.
P.S. the wedge thing looks tight.

So sad, there not suppose to have "new blood" this is after all Lamborghini, that put pride in exclusivity since 1963-present and it should never change, except for some exceptions like the Miura.

Couldn't have said it better myself, dude. Who cares if Audi tamed it a little bit.
It's still Raging Bull for god sakes!
Much love to Lamborghini, and Audi!

Seeing a Lambo LP640 on the street, is MUCH MUCH MUUUUCCCHHH more eye apealing than seeing any F430, 599, DB9, etc on the road.
Especially with the rear vents lifted..... Definitely one of the best luxurious exotics out there.
