I got this car and the ZL1 mixed up. I think the ZL1 had an all aluminum block that created somewhere between 580 and 600 hp. That car could do the quarter in 10.5 sec. with racing slicks. There were only like 3 or 4 produced.
450+ HP fuel injected '82 Vette. New Project: '72 Stingray, all new suspension, blown LS1, six speed T56, sidepipes, and fender flares. Goal: 500 RWHP and 3,100 lb. race weight

The ZL1 is an all alluminuim L88 where as the L88 had an iron block . In 1969 they produced 69 ZL1 camaros and 2 corvettes . With open headers and slicks it ran sub 11 sec 1/4 runs. If geared right it would do over 200mph .

I have access to 1 of them. My boy Roger has 1. He bought it for $350,000 and that was considered a steal.

If you do indeed know Roger Judski, kick him in the ass for me. The last time I read about him and his ZL1 he refused to drive it... That's like a monk marrying a supermodel. It's just not right damnit.
