The standard road legal S7TT (750 bhp) is probably only capable of 230 mph. At Road and Tracks standing mile event, it recorded 224 mph and was still accelerating.

has any of the Saleen supercars ever redlined.Most (all I read) magazines alway have an est. estimated top speed.Go for broke and do it, don't guess.

same reason F1 cars dont have high top speeds, its just not necessary

The S7TT (750hp) has a estimated top speed of 248 mph and "Car and Diver" estimated the S7 (550hp) at 223 mph.

Well its got 1000bhp,a skyline with 1000bhp will hit 230mph easily enough,but wont really go any faster.
This thing is slippier than a skyline,so should go a bit faster.
The downforce from the wings is what will be limiting its top speed.
