I'm guessing that the handling should be the same as the stock one. That being said, this should be able to out-perform the Carrera GT and maybe even keep up just fine with an Enzo, though maybe not overtake it. Sure, flame me out people, but I honestly think this car stands a VERY good chance.

I think you are right. It will out accelerate it. Handling should be close. I am not sure which car has the higher center of gravity, but even if the Enzo handles slightly better, the acceleration of the GT should even it out. Would be an awesome race to see. Too bad neither car is running in ALMS/LeMans

This car will out accelerate the enzo and the carrera gt, its the enzo that will be in the rear view mirror, though its not a fair comparison as thats a modifed gt vs a stock enzo and stock gt carrera. Around corners id expect the enzo and carrera to out-perform the hennessey. But yea its a wicked sleeper looking GT

a sleeper gt, dont thinks so. plus increaseing a cars power throws off its balance, it may drive like a pig now, much like an overpowered viper. 500hp was almost too much for this car. Also i have seen this car on the discovery channel racing a viper and it over heated, broke a rad hose that sucks.

a Ford GT can never be a sleeper

do you even know what "sleeper" means? It's not like people look at a stock GT and Think "wow that looks slow", then are shocked when they find out that it has completely ballistic performance.

you're an idiot.

Not really. I guess you never watched Motor Trends Super Car challenges? Highly modified Vipers, Corvettes, Porsches, etc. Usually pushing more than 100HP more, and handle a lot better. Usually when you spend the money on upgrading a car like that, you are going to upgrade everything else to make it work correctly. It's not like they just swapped an LS1 into a Fiero.

Also, I think it was motor trend, who had an article about a Ford Focus with a v8 Mustang swap. They raced it against a Lamborghini Gallardo. It beat the Lambo on the straights and on an actual track.

The only way to identify the GT700 is a small script on the rear decklid. Other than this, they look surprising stock both from the outside and under the hood.
Its sleeper in a sense that to the average joe they think its a stock gt, obviously a GT is a sports car and will never be less than that, but this is just INSANE and you wouldnt know just by looking at it. All i meant was this, so before you call me an idiot try to figure where im coming from.....

Why is Ford so sloppy with fitting its body panels?? After seeing a Ford GT in person I was disappointed with the fit and finish of the uneven gaps. I guess it's rather appropriate that the owner kissed the wall with the backend at the track. The difference between a good car and a great car is the driver...

I saw one in person, with a lot of other exotics, and the only cars that had better body panel construction were significantly more expensive. As for the finish, it's base coat, clear coat paint, so if the car you saw had a shitty finish, then I think it's because someone buffed it with a dirty bonnet.
