lol dam these corvette guys are funny... if god kiked it in the ass.. lol well thats pretty true ive seen ford races well start off racing because one of em blew the STOCK engine using nos lol that was pretty funny anywayz u dont think corvettes are fast? gimme a ford that can beat the corvette c5-r down the track

The Vette isn't really a muscle car, it is beyond that. The term came about to describe the fearsome beasts of the 60s, where speed came from brute force and the best way to race was from stoplight to stoplight. The Vette is more refined than that, it transcends the term as it does use more than engine strength to conquer its domain (which is the track, not the strip). That would be why Vettes have had 4 wheel disc brakes, IRS, and radial tires for decades.
