A 400 km/h-corvette.
That is streetlegal.
That is litle hard to belive. I have seen 1000 bhp-corvettes
that had a weight of 900 kg, at they didŽt broke
370 km/h. But if the topspeed is true, than why dont they
be in the recordbooks and withn this title, that shut make
a lot of money, so they can produce it....

It has a high top speed but it doesn't exactly excelerate very fast in comparison to other high performance cars.
Pioneered in a concept and ruling all competitive diesel engines, the 6.0 L Powerstroke.

It isn't in Guiness because it isn't a production car (that and I don't believe they applied for the record, just like the Dauer).

The gearing is tuned for Topspeed only. That's one of the reasons.

it was not recognized as record, not because it isn't a production cars, but there wheren't any independed official as whitness to state the record, this is also writen in this story as well, anyway this car never got the attention it needed cause it was too early, but is still unbeaten since its topspeed is proven, which is done sofar by only of the:
Callaway = 410km/h
Veyron = 402km/h (AMS) and 407km/h (Topgear)
Koenigsegg = 388km/h
McLaren F1 = 386km/h

It was offered to be reproduced, but nobody took up the offer. This was the fastest street-legal car until a couple years ago. An amazing feat for a time when most American cars were still s*#@.
