But will it be a better GT? no doubt it's fast, but it's gotta be comfortable, or otherwise what's it for? road legal track car? There's a AMV8 one of those already, and then why not just legalize a DBR-9?

The V8 Vantage is criticized for not having enough power, so it looks like AM have fixed that, at least. I don't like the idea of a sports car having more weight at the front, but it should be a cracking drive.
It's going to be a long season.

I can see it run with a 599, just not overtake it.

I don't see why it wouldn't run with a 599, they would have a similar power to weight ratio.
Who says America can't compete???

I would love to see a head-to-head comparison between both of these GT exotics. It would be this by a very slim margin over the 599 GTB, because of the performance of this one and the very fact that Aston Martin stuffed a V12 and the 6-speed sequential paddle shifted gearbox into this.
