Yet another stupid kit car....Theres hundreds of these things/ they looks the same / sound the same / perform the same / cost the same / Suck the same /......I don't get it !! what was wrong with the other cars like this.... that made them want to build yet another....will the rain of these shit stupid cars ever stop! !!!!

This happens to be "copy" of a classic Caterham Super Seven, vintage coll. item.
It sucks about as much as the AC Cobra.

I happenned to have been a kit car enthusiast long enough to buy an issue of KitCar magazine (about three weeks!)because the idea of the ultra light, but road legal and inexpensive car appealed to me. It still kinda does!
I can at least tell you that all the dax rushes documented were carrying from 3.5 Rover V8s to 325bhp 3.9 litre V8s without modification! THAT is why they keep building them you close minded person-Cahteram made a quality, much lighter car , with better handling (which I like better actually, but that's not the point)but it only took a really quick, but not very throaty, 2.0 Vaux' Rally- tuned engine.
Dax saw a gap in the market-people who wanted powerful AND lightweight performance for their money. Like any good businessmen would, they snapped it up. Your 'rain' of 'shit cars' is made up of kits which have bigger (one production kit that looks like this takes a 302ci ford) or smaller (there are lots of motorbike powered ones-they're really quick!)engines. And some of them ar made to looke more modern, or more vintage.
I mean, I think they are too many vettes-but I realise that you people like your ineffecient 452ci lumpers (I quite like 'em too!) because they make a cool noise have a lot of pull, and don't complain. So get your facts right before you comment.

These Lotus 7 style cars are sweet. They are fast and fun to drive. Honda Civics, Preludes, Celicas, Supras, NSX aren't as quick as these 7 Style kit cars.
These 7 style cars has been around for years, since the original seven was out. In addition, these cars were marketed to older people (30s-50s). Supersonic, if you don't understand why various investors chose to mimic the seven style then you are way to young to understand the racing heritage, power, and enjoyment of owning a Lotus Seven.
What I don't understand is how a person can say a Honda Civic is a great car and turn around say a Lotus Seven style kitcar isn't.
Just to let you know, Dax sports Car has made a 2002 Dax Rush Hayabusa Turbo. They are selling for only 21k pounds. The car is so damn fast, you better be well trained physically and mentally to drive it. That's how fast the car accelerates, more than 2Gs of acceleration force. It has a power to weight ratio of 820 BHP per ton, greater than any car on this website. The only cars that are comparable are contemporary F1 racers. There you go, for 31k US, you can own a car faster than a 1000 HP Supra, 500 HP Civic... This is a stock car, road legal, remember that!

There are a lot of british sports cars inspired by the Lotus 7, but they are all different. I have read recently that people are comparing the new Hyandai Coupe to a Ferrari. They may look a bit similar, but they certainly aint the same car.
All of the competitors compete against each other, making it an exciting market for buyers. I think it was Formula 27 who put a moterbike engine in a car like this first, but now Tiger, Dax, Caterham, Westfield, Locost etc all do it. Westfield had a twin engined one first, but it is Tiger that have put it into production.

I partially agree with SuperSonic, there are so many cars that look like the Caterham Super Seven and/or the Panoz AIV Roadster, but this car is actually a fast one. Too bad most of them use little Ford engines.

nothing great cars, no copy right, so they build more! Plus this car performs, it has grip as well as handling, this is based on the Sierra cosworth 4x4 these cars tune up soo well, up to 500bhp, from a lightweight engine.

these things are still astonishingly fast!!
they even get banned in various races, such as the 24h of the nurburgring. they (sevenesque cars) simply had no competition
light is faster then sound, that's why people look intelligent untill you hear them speak

I've got one, with ONLY 280bhp and 300lb/ft in a car that is 800kgs. It still does sub 4sec runs to 60 and a 1/4mile in 12.5secs (and that was only the 2nd time up the strip!). How many other cars without turbos, superchargers and NOS can claim that???? Yeah, ferrari's and how much do they cost??? Mine was a fraction of those.
Here is a fact for you. My mate in a 380bhp 4x4 Dax was keeping up with a Radical (admitedley not the SLR) lapping Donington (UK) last year, the 4x4 like mine weighes in at 800kgs plus. The new Dax Motorbike engine car has 350bhp and weighes only 450-500kgs, put that up against an SLR and see who comes out on top!! by my reckoning thats about 700bhp/tonne.
As much as i may dislike the 'Radical' brand for not selling a kit,...their still quick. The SLR holds the current lap record for a production car at the Nurburgring in Germany at 7 mins 22secs, and pulls 2G thro' corners.
At the end of the day it may be a 'retro' design, but at least the Rush is a bit more imposing than the likes of Caterham or Westfield.
Fact, When i come up behind someone in the rush, 9 times out of 10 they move straight out of the way to let you thro' then stare with tongues hanging out as you go past!! How often does that happen in a hot hatch??
To top it all, at end the end of the day, #$%# me i built this thing too!!

The Caterham Super 7 is an amazing car!!! But to be able to drive these in North America, or Canada at least you have to get a different engine, A LESS POWERFUL ONE...With sucks all the fun out of it, and the point. But I don't see and end to fast cars that are fun to drive and handle like you can't amagine, AND I DON'T WANT TO...
