Im just curious why you would buy one? Arent the parts hard to get and the preformance is just horable 0-60 in 10.5 sec and 0-100 in 40 sec thats not at all a supercar, I think a true supercar would be something more like 0-100 in 10 sec not 40 sec!!! I guess it use to be a good car back in the day. I just want to know why its a popular car? I mean I was reading some of the posts and the car seemed to be pretty good, but in what? And one last question how much would it cost to buy one?

0-60 in 9.5, engine upgrades take it to 197hp(vs. stock 130hp). top speed 120mph.

its attractive(in only some eyes), the doors rock, the stainless steel is unique. chicks love it. stock, its 44 inches tall(very short)and can be lowered. good milage, safe, roomy/comfy, and hey! its classic.

did you know its the 63rd. out of 100 most wanted cars in the 20th century? out of all the car collectors, it turned up as one of the most wanted.

whyd you put the question like that? "heck" isnt something to put on here unless you say "heck man, thats cool". but you said something to the effect of "why would some one want a crappy car like this? why not go by a POS civic with pretend/wanna-be NOS, and saying its supercharged spoon engine?"

learn your grammer. i dont use capitalization or puntuation-even spelling-much, but i can understand what youre saying. why not put the right form of question. like "what are the reasons you like it?". thats at least looks NICE.

Why would ya want one? well for the same reason ppl want pre 1980 fiats and MGs sure they're not the best cars around, but man when ya drive one they make ya feel like yer 17 again.
Everyone knows that big fins and stickers on a car make ya faster. Big rear fin on a fwd car: $300. Stupidity: Priceless

I'm sorry I didn't think this was English class!!! It makes perfect sense because if you cant understand "What the heck is your problem?" its just sad!!! People use bad grammar ALL THE TIME and misspell words ALL THE TIME!!!! And your telling me to learn my grammar at least I KNOW HOW TO SPELL GRAMMAR AND PUNCTUATION!!!! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!! If you didn’t know heck is a more formal way to say hell and if I substitute hell with heck it looks like this: What the hell is your problem? And that makes perfect sense.

By the way you made errors in your post here’s a revised version:

Why’d you put the question like that? "Heck" isn’t something to put on here unless you say "heck man, that’s cool". But you said something to the effect of "why would some one want a crappy car like this? Why not go by a POS civic with pretend/want to be NOS, and saying its supercharged spoon engine?"

Learn your grammar. I don’t use capitalization or punctuation-even spelling-much, but i can understand what you’re saying. Why not put the right form of question. like "what are the reasons you like it?". That’s at least looks NICE.

You'd rather have an Enzo than this? I hope so. I hope you also realize that you have replaced a $25000.00 car with one in the hundreds of thousands(!)
PLUS you are comparing a 20 year old car with one so new that the ink hasn't fully dried on the drawing board!!!

That's like saying i'd rather have an F16 over a P51 Mustang. If you are going to criticize and compare, keep your comparisons at least in the same decade, price range, and performance range. Your comparison holds no value.

Yes....the doors...

Yet another reason WHY this car is so unique. Even haters such as yourself can distinguish a unique feature such as the Gull Wing doors.

Thus making the delorean a UNIQUE car.

Hence the reason why alot of us like it.

Now, go out and buy an ordinary Honda Civic, put on a fart pipe, HUGE wing (Which, if none of you lil import tuners have learned yet... putting a huge wing like that to add downforce to the back of a FRONT WHEEL DRIVE CAR... Understand yet???) some way cool Fast and the Furious stickers, a chrome fire extinguisher, and learn a very important lesson...

Your car is still ordinary. Im not saying you drive a honda, but you hopefully understand what im talking about when i say UNIQUE.
