 yu got it right there buddy , actualy detomaso's former employee (one way or another could be a co-founder i'm not very sure) anyway the qvale brand headman was responsible for the original mangusta and bought the rights to the car . enter the qvale mangusta , now owned by MG.

 DeTomaso went bust. They set up again under the name of Qvale (the Chairmans' Grandads name. Simple really. Its still ugly!
Jeremy Clarkson is - no arguments please - the best motoring journalist that ever lived. Make way for the King.

 The main problem with the Qvale Mangusta is that the Panoz Esperante is basically the same setup, performance and price, and doesn't look quite so nasty.
