If you park a Mangusta next to a Pantera, and don't include those awful headlights from the Mangusta, there is no doubt that the Mangusta is much more beautiful. From the rear quarter the Mangusta is probably the most beautiful car ever made. Panteras are COOL, Mangustas are gorgeous. BIG difference. The photo on this website doesn't do the Mangusta justice. Just redo the cooling system, beef up the transaxle, and drop in a modern 302 with 500 or so horsepower, and you have beauty and the beast all in one car!!

I like the looks of the Mangusta better, although the early Panteras looked pretty slick. On the track though, the Pantera is much quicker, and has significantly better ergonomics.
