right on, they need to use this model, put a V6 in it, and use it as the FAMILY sedan model, maybe make it a little less aggressive, and use THIS one for the R/T pkg, only 2 doors, and a 5.7 litre HEMI! that would be a Charger!!

the 1969 charger is better. 69 is the best year to date for american muscle cars. the old charger looks better, and i bet it would smoke this charger
I hate japanese cars. American muscle and European superiority for life.

My Top 10 List (no order in particular):
1- Mclaren F1
2- Ferrari Enzo
3- Porsche Carrera GT
4- Mercedes-Mclaren SLR
5- Mercedes CLK-GTR
6- Ferreri F50
7- 1966 GT-40 or 1969 GT-40
8- Ford GT
9- 1969 Corvette Stingray (427)
10- 1969 Camaro SS (396)

i feel that they have ruined the great classic with this new jap crap looking body, it looks like crap, i think that if they made another one they should use most the mods. in this model and make a older more agressive looking body shape.

I agree, 69 was the best year for muscle. Im sure they're all faster than todays standards. However with gas prices rising etc, they cant just drop huge powerful engines into muscle cars anymore, so they have to work around it. However im very happy with this Charger, it WILL come out in 06, with a 5.7Litre HEMI, 345HP. Cant wait, should be excellent, and hopefully they'll loose the 2 rear doors for the RT model. Information was from motortrend.com Future car list of 2006 if you'd like to check. And anyways, even if it doesnt perform as well as old chargers, all it needs to do is be able to take current muscle, as this car is. It'll probably stomp any newer camaros, and mustangs. Besides, who cares, its a Charger, just the name wants me to buy it. Id be happy driving it even if it only had 300HP.
Hemi: (HEM -e) adj. Mopar in type, V8, hot tempered, native to the United States, carnivorous, eats primarily Mustangs, Camaros, and Corvettes. Also enjoys smoking a good import now and then to relax. - David Charles Gedraitis

WHAT ARE YOU SMOKING??? I think it's a good idea to bring the Charger back. Sure they could take out the back 2 doors and try to fit a 426 HEMI in there. Then that would be the total definition of a modern muscle car! And they need to take out the whole natural gas idea...run that baby on premium unleaded or somethin. So i say Charge on with the Charger. Sure it might take away from the original Charger, but i have fully restored my uncle's 1971 Charger R/T. And i'd like to see the newer generation compared to the older generation and maybe challenge it to a race.
