I don't get it...are they going for a new look or a retro look? Make up your mind Ford before all of us put our own color on the dashboard! I mean this car doesn't even look that proportional, the wheels are too big for the frame so it looks like a lifted car, and the back end just doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense (I mean semi-curve the edges and then make everything else boxy?) The only good thing that I think they did was the front of the car, the grill setup looks nice. But otherwise, I'm disgusted!

I just saw the convertible, and it looks like they started with it and the coupe was just the shit that that car took. The convertible design is SOOO much better!

This car looks like it took front and rear end chops of different designs a complete mutt of a car..and in trying to keep with the muscle car look that for somehow GM and Dodge got right the first time around (which ford still hasn't the second time around) and thats the raised flare right behind the door on the way to the top of the rear wheel well. Not pronounced and it the only real curve on a car with chiseled flat rear and front end.
I can't believe ford made the claim they spent 45 years breaking in the roads for this 2010 mustang....a piece of cr*P.

older version meaning the 5.0s they had in the early 90s... even though the inside was ugly.

I like the rear more, but I like the front less. And the tacky looking plastic on the outside needs to go.

it just looks like a facelifted current version surely if this is going to be the full replace ment they need to do a bit more work in the design department
