NOT some stupid civic!!! - see how great a viper is once you supe it up? vs. an import civic or somethin, gotta put loads of money just to get to 400hp then eventually blow it up or somethin, too small of a car, cant handle real performance!!! once you start w/ a good BASE car (viper) you're basically limitless, because its a great solid engine, and a great chassis etc.

dear lord if only i could afford one of these monsters, yeah, id just get a sticker on that back that has calvin pissing on "anything but this car"... i doubt anybody could say anything, because they wouldnt have nothin on me!!!

does anyone know if the skidpad can compare to that of a ferari 360? id really like 2 know, cuz if it even comes close, its a much better car 4 the money

More like if the 360s skidpad compare to the 800tt's. Yes it comes close, and beats the 360s.

the maclaren has a skidpad figure in the 0.8's .. i think we can all learn a little from that result.
if i had wet dreams over the viper constantly id use that arguement to proove that the viper out handles the mclaren by such a huge amount that there is no pont even meeting it on the track to actually find out.
but then again, im not a viper fan.

this ahs a better skid pad...but that doesnt meant it handles better thant he 360...means it has more oversteer...and yes this car is really nice..but base car?? not many can afford this for a base car lol

dude, first off, size has nothing to do with a cars speed. my GTI VR6 eats much larger cars like camaros and mustangs. if anything the viper is at a huge disadvantage being so big. notice a lots elise. with its 190 hp its 0-60 is an insane sub 5 time. put some cash in there, get roughly 500 hp and youd eat a venom for lunch, all this is possible for under 50k. oh yeah, guess the engine. juss guess. Intergra Type R engine. not such shitty cars anymore are they? theyre good enough for lotus. intergas and civics arent bad cars, they drive very nice, and they get from point a to b cheaply. theyre not meant to be racecars, this is. pointless to compare the 2.
about the skidpad, skidpad means nothing. it only means how big of tires you have on there. grip does NOT equal handleing. 360s handle much better then vipers, yet theyre skidpad is less. theres factors such as balance, stiffness, how it feels, and many other things that come into play in handleing, not just grip.
i think someone just got owned and it sure as hell wasnt me.
Finally got my old acc back now that it has 1/2 the posts of my new one that doesnt seem to work.

oh yeah, juss to mention, i know a guy by the name of kenny (owner of kentek motorsports here in dallas) hes currently making a 650 hp drag car out of a 1.8L TT (and gti, jetta and passat) engine. size means nothing again.
Finally got my old acc back now that it has 1/2 the posts of my new one that doesnt seem to work.

also the reason i bring up friends of mine is to show real world cars, not the seemingly mythical 1200 hp supras and skylines and such. sure theres 1 of those cars, but i try to bring in somehting on a slightly more logical lvl.

a real sports car absolutely. when i get married this is probably what ill hire out, drive to an expensive venue and bed my wife. but thats the thing you see. to take this beast out every day? first of all the people at the company BBQ, (hypothetical, i am not a self made millionaire) would rip the piss out of me for driving a shiny d"ck on wheels. second of all refinement and luxury come at a premium price dammit. when its your hard cash you have to spend youll understand. then "smoking jap crap all day like a biatch" (honestly some guys on this website have my pity) doesnt come into it, one grows out of these things squire.

no it doesnt, not even close. you want everything, get a GTR 750. the ultimate supercar. 750 hp pumped through 4 wheels, worlds most advanced TCS system, Variocam, an engine ont he correct side of the driver, super high tech carbon ceramic brakes, the worlds best racing history, and it wont break every other day. oh yeah, a nurburing record is handy too.

That's pretty good performance. All the performance you'd want.

I Agree that this is an example of a great supercar because they get so much power out of a V10 viper engine!the viper engine is a truly remarkable thing on its own and i think is the most powerful engine alone with no turbis and this car proves that with turbos the viper can be just as more powerful as any other sportscar around!Good old american muscle,nothing beats it!
