In my opinion there's no way of comparing, or chosing, between the 2. The reasons:
The GT1 was built for race tracks, then adapted to road. With the F40 the exact opposite happened. As a result, yes, the road going F40 has less power, and not quite the handling that the GT1 has. But the only reason for that is the one stated above.
Plus, one is almost 15 years older than the other. It's almost unfair to compere the 2.

The road going R390? There was only one of those ever made!!! I would take the R390! Of course I would take the racing R390 anyway.
